what is the best way to roller set my hair and get a very healthy look with a great shine?
I’ll first start off by saying if you want a more natural look I’d definitely go with bigger curlers for a soft look where as the smaller ones give you tighter curls.
Shampoo and condition your hair, conditioner is very important to give your hair a healthy shine look. Make sure you do not rub your hair with a towel after your shower, just pat dry. Buy a really good leave in conditioner to spray on the ends of your hair after your shower (I personally love ISO leave in conditioner because it doesn’t leave any residue).
When you section Off Your hair you should section it into three different parts… the left, right and center. A tip is to roll the center part of your hair to the back of your head and not to the sides. I usually start with the middle. Comb the front section from the middle forward basically hanging infront of your eyes. Take a roller and place it on your ends where your fingers are, on top of the hair. In other words, the roller should be on the other side of your hair, away from your face. Roll upwards towards the sky and onto your head. Secure at the base with a duckbill clip. Then do the sides, but this time roll from underneath. Blow dry (make sure there is no dampness) then you’re done.
