Piano levels?
I'm trying to figure out what level I'm playing on the piano. Played, 3 weeks ago or so, Op.90 Impromptus of Schubert for the National Guild auditions. Since then I have learned and polished the Mendelssohn Scherzo in E, Grieg March of the Dwarfs, and reviewed the preparation time Vals to play in what my teacher said my summer projects Chopin Scherzo No. 2. And from what I hear, the piece is a beast .. what I should do my summer internship interesting. Haha. Anyway, could someone please help me figure out what "level" I'm in my repertoire? I'm sick of people always ask me why level I am, and I'm always "uhhh …" ing to them. Thanks. [=
I do not worry about the level …. if you're playing all that is impressive. Could have been much better if I learned to read music properly …. It took a while to learn Maple Leaf Rag, and I'm still working on Moonlight Sonata 3rd movement because I have to memorize the notes as I go. Keep practicing!
