my parrots fertile egg has a crack and I porches with nail polish?
my female parakeet is 2 years and she has made a small crack (Small crack in the egg) is going to influence the feretile chick inside the egg. also applies nail polish to the affected i thank you very much girl
This is a widespread belief that the application of nail polish will seal the egg when cracked. While nail polish is extremely toxic to the parakeets Fumey and I'm not sure of all that its a good thing to do at all. More often than not recommended the use of liquid paper or have an eggshell parts and the use of a water-based glue to make repairs. Only time will tell if the repair worked or not. Also to consider is repairs must be made within moments of the crack to stop the bacteria enter the egg.
