98 Ford Explorer Ltd. Edt. no start (engine vibration)?
I drive a 1998 Ford Eplorex Lt. Edt. with 210,000 miles on it. Today, when was driving on a full tank the car stopped at a stoplight. The engine will shut down completely, and was not able to get it going. The car is in good shape I have not had an oil change every 10,000 km. I was able to get you up and running by using jumper cables, but as you press the accelerator the engine began to shake violently and soon after the car was going to die. We had the hood open and saw the motor agitation. Any idea what's wrong? Coolant levels oil were good and the car was not overheating at all. Besides, I was good on gas. Could this be a result of not having an oil change, and if so, What would be the direct result? Ideas?
