Well a great sense of love and loyalty are the words "For you, Amir, many times more." Hassan would do anything for Amir even Amir after committing the ultimate betrayal by not standing up for him during the rape. While it is true Amir said he never thought of Hassan as a friend who said to be raised with the same breast, they have a bond forever. And despite the fact that he said he never thought of him as a friend, who played together when school I was out kites and Amir ran them down again and finally adopt the orphaned son Hassans. That sounds like true friendship to me!
