Sealing the wood with tung oil?
So I am about to seal my guitar with tung oil. So I'm ending with a clear gloss lacquer. How many coats of tung oil should I use to seal the wood until well? (By the way, is Hawaiian Koa wood. The top is maple) In case of tung oil thin? If so, Why?
DO NOT put tung oil on his guitar. Used to dampen the vibrations of sound and adversely affect the tone quality. Use paint only
