Color Neon

Color Neon
Is Neon an orange-Red Color, or is it colorless?

I heard that neon is colorless, odorless, and tasteless. But then again, it’s also an orange-red color. Is neon only colorless depending on it’s state of matter? Like if it were a gas it would be colorless, but if it were liquid air……? Neon is used in lighting, and especially in those “neon” advertising signs.
……
Basically I’m just asking: What color is neon?

Neon is colorless. Neon lights are created by removing the air from glass tubes and filling them with Neon gas. When a large voltage of electricity is applied to the glass tube, an electric discharge occurs, causing the tube to glow a reddish-orange color.
