Why is giving birth so much pain? Even in a tiny hole? How comes everyone always wants natural birth??
It is painful because you are squeezing a 7 pound baby out a 10 cm hole!
A lot of people want it natural because they don’t want drugs in their system that might get into the baby’s system. Some peoplejust think it is a beautiful experience that shouldn’t be dulled – although these are usually people that haven’t given birth yet. No people didn’t have drugs hundreds of years ago ut I bet if you had offered them something they would have say “heck, yes!” They did it natural back then because they HAD to, not because they wanted to. Some people think they are somehow noble if they don’t have pain meds. Whatever! In the end the outcome is the same – a baby and that is the important part.
